ABOUT US
Customised, creative content is the core business at PA Publishing. From print articles for mainstream newspapers to snazzy online portals, content is distinctively fashioned, based on clients’ needs and their target audiences.
The devil is in the details. Therefore, from content to production and publishing - advertorials, brochures, newsletters, publicity materials, and books - PA Publishing carefully manages the process from assignment to final printed product.
As a content provider, PA Publishing covers print and on-line material: newspaper and magazine articles, corporate books and on-line content re-vamp and management.
Other than writing commissioned articles, we also undertake editing and proofreading, resulting in texts of outstanding quality. As part of our service, we work very closely with all our clients to meet their increasingly exacting needs.
PA Publishing also produces advertorials, booklets, books, and photographic images as required by clients. As an experienced publishing house, we also undertake contract publishing for customised newsletters, brochures, guidebooks, publicity material, and magazines.
Working with a team of very reliable freelance writers, photographers, and design staff from concept to creation, PA Publishing ensures content products of exceptional quality.
JACQUELINE PEREIRA
Director of PA Publishing, she has recently worked on revamping website content for both, Clove Two and Language Works. She also writes regularly for The Star’s Weekender section, and for Options in The Edge. She also has a fortnightly column, Culture Cul-de-sac, in Starmag, The Star. She is now working on a book entitled Learning Legacy: The MLNG Story, due to be completed in May 2008.
Writing has always been her first love and she knew when she was 14 that she wanted to be a journalist. Though she began working life as a teacher, she soon persuaded the editor of Woman At Work to hire her. After this start as a writer, she moved on to a 3-year stint as a reporter on The Star’s Weekender desk. Moving to Marie Claire Malaysia magazine to become Assistant Editor in 1995, she took over as Editor in 1999 and spent the next four years taking it to new levels of success. Then, seeking a fresh challenge, she left to publish her own magazine, Vida! After 40 issues, she streamlined her company in 2007 to concentrate fully on writing.
In her spare time, too, Jacqueline writes - currently a book and a blog. Apart from this, she enjoys reading, travelling, yoga, cinema and gardens.
